Message from the Principal

At Chiefland Middle High School, I am incredibly proud of our students, staff, and families and the strong sense of school pride that defines who we are. This year’s theme—Anchored in Excellence and Rising with Resiliency—captures the heart of our school community. We are anchored in a tradition of high expectations, accountability, and respect. Our foundation is built on academic rigor, character, and a commitment to doing what is right, even when it is challenging. At the same time, we are rising—setting higher goals for ourselves, learning from setbacks, and demonstrating resilience in everything we do. Excellence is not just an expectation at CMHS; it is a shared responsibility embraced by our entire Tribe.

CMHS is more than a school—it is a community where students are known, valued, and supported. We believe in fostering an accepting, positive environment where all students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our staff works tirelessly to challenge students while providing the support they need to succeed, and our students continue to rise to those expectations with pride and determination.

Together, as the CMHS Tribe, we will continue to honor our traditions, strengthen our foundation, and push forward with confidence, resilience, and purpose. I am proud of who we are, proud of where we are going, and proud to serve as the principal of CMHS!

Warm regards,
Stacy Drummond
