Message from the Principal

Welcome to Chiefland Elementary School! Our vision is simple: to be a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to come to school each day, and where families feel welcomed and valued as true partners in their child’s education. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and academically rich environment where students can prepare for a successful future. This work happens in big and small ways every single day.

Our teachers and staff truly love what they do and care deeply about each child! They are eager to meet students where they are, celebrate their strengths, and help them grow as learners and as people. While we set high expectations for our students, we also recognize that learning happens best when the work is engaging, meaningful, and joyful.

As an AVID school, we help our students begin building important habits early, such as staying organized, setting goals, working together, and believing in themselves. We’re also a proud PBIS school, where kindness, positive choices, and strong relationships are taught, encouraged, and celebrated every day.

Most importantly, we believe that school works best when families, staff, and students work together. You know your child best, and we value your trust, communication, and involvement in what’s happening on campus. If you ever have questions, concerns, or just need to talk something through, my door is always open, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school family. I am grateful for the opportunity each day to play a small role in your child’s learning and development and to work alongside you as we help our students learn, grow, and shine.

Warm regards,
Amy Webber
